Eating al fresco

It’s a great time of year for outdoor eating – the weather’s warming up and the days are getting longer. We’re all set up here at Bryn-y-môr Cottage to make the most of outdoor living – we’ve got brilliant bbq equipment and you can dine on the patio where you can feast on the views across Rhossili and Broughton Bays at the same time.

We’re also spoiled with great produce here in Gower: you can buy home-grown vegetables from local farms and just leave money in an honesty box. And if it’s quality meat you’re after, for the bbq or to take home, try Tuckers Butchers – traditional Gower butchers based in Station Road, Penclawdd (tel 01792 850084) specialising in locally sourced produce including delicious salt marsh lamb.
